TruCal is a calorie and macro tracking app. This policy explains what data the app uses, how it is stored, and what choices you have.
This document describes the current behaviour of the TruCal mobile app.
All of this data is provided by you and is used only to power TruCal’s functionality on your device.
TruCal does not include any analytics SDKs or advertising trackers in the app code.
We do not run our own servers for TruCal and do not collect your personal nutrition data on any backend we control.
TruCal does not store your nutrition data on any TruCal‑managed server or third‑party database.
Your mobile platform provider (Apple or Google) may back up app data as part of normal device backups or app backup settings on your device. Those backups are controlled by your device and OS settings, not by TruCal.

Open Food Facts may receive your IP address and other standard HTTP metadata as part of the request, in accordance with their own privacy policy.
We do not hold copies of your nutrition data on our own servers.
TruCal is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used by them. If you believe we have stored data for a child under 13 in any future online service related to TruCal, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be highlighted in the app release notes.
